Boudoir outfits trends come and go throught out the years. Many outfits are the same, but some have changed in 2024
I started photographing clients in Columbus, Georgia way back in 2009 (ish). Since then boudoir outfit trends have changed a lot. What used to be popular, i see you low-rise jeans, orange foundation with a thick cat-eye, is not so popular anymore.
Its about time I present to you my favorite trends of 2024 boudoir.
2023 Boudoir Outfit Trends
A lot has changed throughout my time as a boudoir photographer in Columbus. Fortunately, you can still bring some classic pieces to your boudoir session and be just fine!
Bodysuits are always going to be my number one suggestion.
Why? because bodysuits come is so many varieties! And they still look sexy while keeping you feeling covered while you get warmed up in front of the camera.
You can find them in shapewear versions to make you feel SANTCHED. You can find them with lots of support or none. The bottoms can be fulll coverage to a g-string style.
A bra and panty set will never steer you wrong.
You probably have a black bra and panty set in your drawer and that is perfect and classic.
Here are my recommedations–cheeky or thong with a higher-cut.
High cut panty style will elongate your legs and highlight your waist. Get a size up from what you normally wear.
Bras should fit how they’re supposed to. Go get measured for free at Victoria’s Secret at Peachtree mall or Soma at Bradley Park.
Now, let talk about what has changed…. the jeans.
When i first started it was skinny jeans and low rise at that. Scary!
Thank God, high-waisted jeans are here to stay. They’re so flattering!
In 2024, what’s different is the fit. jean legs are wider and generally have a more casual and relaxed fit. I love these from Levis.
You also can’t go wrong with his white button-down shirt or his favorite oversized T-shirt.
Paragraph: Any meaningful shirt will work and your partner will know you were thinking about them! Win-win.
Just make sure you have an oversized fit, these styles are better for posing when its not too tight.
Don’t forget to bring…
Shoes! At least bring one pair of nude or black heels. Higher is better, but don’t hurt yourself! LOL (You’ll just be standing or laying in them) If you don’t have any, I will have a pair for you at the studio!
Here’s an essential list of what to bring for all clients:
-a bodysuit
-bra and panty sets in a variety of styles. Size up on the panties.
-a white button down shirt–oversized is best.
If you can’t narrow down, bring a whole suitcase of options! Suitcase…not closet! 😉 You’ll be overwhelmed and I’ll be overwhelmed.
If you’re not sure what’s best, I will help you decide when you arrive!
but really, don’t stress too much about boudoir outfit trends.
My ultimate goal is to make you feel Wildly confident in whatever you wear or don’t wear! I want your session feel timeless and classic.
